The Bartlet

Gipping Homes comes over all pink!

The Felixstowe coastline received a splash of colour this morning when the Gipping Homes team congregated on the stretch of beach in front of The Bartlet and Cautley House to show their support for Breast Cancer Care’s Wear it Pink day.

Carpenters, brick layers, project managers, and directors swapped the habitual yellow of their high-vis jackets for florescent pink, all in the name of charity, of course.

Passers-by could have been forgiven for thinking that the ‘Pink Rinse’ was enjoying a revival, as sherbet coloured curls strayed from the confines of hard hats and the team’s unruly neon wigs were exposed. They would, unfortunately, be wrong, instead the Gipping Homes crew, like hundreds of thousands of others across the country, raised their drills and paintbrushes and stood up to breast cancer by taking part in ‘wear it pink’.

The team resolutely have worn their new get-up all day, and whilst none of the men would admit it, we’re fairly sure they’ll miss this particular shade of safety-wear.
