Getting festive in Felixstowe!

With Halloween out of the way, the days growing ever shorter and the John Lewis Christmas ad gracing our screens, it’s official - the holiday season is upon us.

With the lead up to December 25th the folks of Felixstowe and the new residents of The Bartlet and Cautley House have plenty of festive fun to look forward to.

Christmas Craft Market and Lights Switch On

Browse a fantastic range of gift and food stalls at the Triangle Canopy, before experiencing the drama of the children’s candlelight parade (16:40) leading to Hamilton Road (17:00) where the Major awaits to turn on the Christmas lights.

Felixstowe Ice Rink
Great Eastern Square
When: 19th – 23rd December @ 12:00 – 20:00, 20th December @ 10:00 - 18:00
Enjoy free ice skating in the lead up to Christmas, with the grand opening of the ice rink at midday on Saturday 19th December by the Mayor of Felixstowe and music from Felixstowe Salvation Army Band.

Santa’s Ride Around Town with Rudolf
Where: Around the streets of Felixstowe
When: Every weekday evening between 1st – 2nd December @ 18:00 – 20:30
A Felixstowe family favourite is back for another year! Santa and Rudolph will be spreading the Christmas joy as they tour the streets of Felixstowe and surrounding areas, while raising awareness and money for Rotary Charities and Save the Children.

The Santa and Rudolph trailer can also be seen from 10:00 till 16: 00 on Hamilton Road on Saturday 12th December and at Morrison’s on Saturday 19th December.


Carols with the Salvation Army
Where: Triangle Canopy
When: 19th December @ 10:00 - 12:00
Enjoy the delights of a traditional brass band concert with the Salvation Army. Admission is free but donations are very much appreciated.
